About the series
In this short-lived 1990–1991 series from Caliber Press, writer Gary Reed and artist Mark Winfrey crafted a grim, post-apocalyptic sci-fi tale where humanity’s own mechanical creations have risen to dominate the world. The story follows the remnants of human resistance as they struggle to survive against the Mechanoids—sentient war machines that now rule the desolate landscape. Though only three issues long, the series stands as a sharp, early example of Caliber's darker, independent storytelling.
