Mavericks

Paul Danner's Mavericks (Dagger Comics, 1994–present) is a six-issue series that follows a team of unconventional heroes operating outside the usual superhero establishment. With artwork by Rick Leach, Greg Horn, and Roy Burdine, the book's gritty, anti-authoritarian tone defined a key corner of Dagger's mid-90s lineup. It remains a cult touchstone for fans of the era's darker, more rebellious take on the genre.
