Maverick

Published in Sweden by Williams Förlags AB from 1964 to 1965, Maverick ran for 22 issues as a comic series adapting the popular television Western of the same name. Featuring the adventures of gambler Bret Maverick and his brother Bart, the series captured the charm and wit of the show’s frontier tales. Though brief, it remains a notable example of European licensed comics from the mid-1960s, bringing American TV heroes to a Swedish audience.
