Maus

Art Spiegelman's seminal work, Maus, was collected in a new Norwegian edition from Minuskel Forlag beginning in 2017. This single-issue volume presents the Pulitzer Prize-winning graphic novel in its entirety, a harrowing and groundbreaking account of the Holocaust in which Jews are depicted as mice and Nazis as cats. Spiegelman's stark black-and-white art and deeply personal narrative, which interweaves his father's survival story with their own fraught relationship, remains an essential, influential landmark in the medium.
