Mauprat

Mauprat, a 2008 graphic novel from Les Éditions du Triomphe, adapts George Sand’s 19th-century novel of the same name into a single-issue comic. The story follows a young nobleman raised in isolation by a brutal uncle, whose violent upbringing clashes with the refined world he later encounters.
