Mars-serien [Metall-klanen]

In the late 1960s, Norwegian publisher Williams Forlag (under its Illustrerte Klassikere imprint) brought the interplanetary adventures of the Mars-serien [Metall-klanen] to readers. Running for 12 issues, this series featured the talents of prolific American comic writer Robert Kanigher alongside the dynamic artwork of Ross Andru and Gil Kane. Though a short-lived import, it stands as a curious artifact of the global reach of mid-century space-opera comics, offering a distinctly Scandinavian window into the cosmic heroics of the era.
