Published by Gakudosha from 1948 to 1955, Manga Shonen was a pioneering 93-issue comic anthology that helped define the post-war Japanese manga landscape. Most closely associated with legendary creator Osamu Tezuka, as well as Suiho Tagawa and Hideo Furusawa, the series served as a vital incubator for early manga talent and storytelling.
