Manga-Bibliothek

Tokyopop Germany’s Manga-Bibliothek (2013–2014) was a short-lived, four-issue comics series that presented curated, standalone manga-inspired stories in a library-style format. Published under the Tokyopop (de) imprint, the series brought together various German creators to explore genre narratives—from slice-of-life to fantasy—in a single-issue anthology structure. Though brief, it served as a showcase for local talent working within manga aesthetics, offering a snapshot of the early-2010s German manga scene.
