Mandrágora

A darkly humorous Spanish comic series from Ediciones La Cúpula, Mandrágora (2006–present) follows the misadventures of a hapless, perpetually unlucky protagonist in a world of surreal, often absurdist situations. Created by the acclaimed cartoonist Miguelanxo Prado, the series is notable for its expressive, detailed artwork and its blend of fantasy and social satire.
