Published in Rus from 1937 to 1940, Мали забавник Мика Миш (Mali zabavnik Mika Miš) was a pioneering Yugoslav comic series that ran for 116 issues, bringing the adventures of Mickey Mouse and other Disney characters to local readers. Though primarily a licensed reprint vehicle, it became a cultural touchstone for its era, introducing sequential art to a generation in a region with limited comic tradition. The series' consistent, compact format helped standardize the comic book as a popular medium in the Balkans, and its run represents one of the earliest sustained Disney comic publications outside the United States.
