In the mid-1980s, Diamond Comics introduced মহাবলী শাকা [Mahabali Shaka], a short-lived Bengali-language series of just three issues. Published from 1984 to 1990, the title centered on the mighty, heroic figure of Shaka, a character rooted in Indian mythology and folklore. Though its run was brief, the series stands as a notable example of Diamond Comics' early forays into regional Indian superhero storytelling.
