Matt Wagner's Mage (1983–1989, Misprint comix) is a six-issue, self-contained fantasy epic that reimagines Arthurian legend in a modern, urban setting. Written and drawn by Wagner, it follows a young everyman as he discovers his destiny as the Pendragon, a modern-day hero.
