Mad Omnibus

From 1984 to 1995, Dutch publisher De Vrijbuiter released a 20-issue Mad Omnibus series, collecting classic material from the legendary humor magazine in a sturdy, oversized format. The run is most closely associated with the wild, cartoonish work of Don Martin, whose signature slapstick and sound effects dominate the writing and art, alongside Dutch-language contributions from artists Willy Lohmann and Wouter Lap. This series brought the anarchic spirit of Mad to a new generation of European readers, preserving its timeless satirical bite in a compact, library-friendly edition.
