Archie Comics’ Mad House (later Madhouse), running from 1974 to 1982, was a 36-issue anthology series that let the publisher’s top talents—including writers George Gladir, Frank Doyle, and Dick Malmgren, and artists Dan DeCarlo, Stan Goldberg, and Joe Edwards—loose on horror, sci-fi, and supernatural tales.
