Mad Follies

About the series
For seven issues between 1963 and 1969, EC Comics published Mad Follies, a humor anthology that gathered the satirical talents of writers Don Reilly, Frank Jacobs, and Stan Hart alongside artists Mort Drucker, Jack Rickard, and Kelly Freas. Featuring the ever-present Alfred E. Neuman, the series offered a concentrated dose of the irreverent, pop-culture parody that defined the Mad brand during its classic era. Though brief, it stands as a snapshot of mid-century American satire from one of the medium's most influential humor publishers.
