Mac Coy

From 1989 to 1991, German publisher Egmont Ehapa released six issues of Mac Coy, a Western comic series written primarily by Jean-Pierre Gourmelen, Andreas Boerschel, and Peter Daibenzeiher. The series is most strongly associated with the lush, historically grounded artwork of Antonio Hernández Palacios, whose detailed storytelling brought the Old West to life. Though brief, the series stands as a notable European collaboration that showcases Palacios’s distinctive visual style within a classic frontier setting.
