A Swedish-language album series launched in 1975 by Red Clown, Mästaren på karate adapts the martial-arts exploits of a lone warrior into a single comic book. The series is most associated with the dynamic, action-filled artwork of Gil Kane, whose fluid style captures the intensity of hand-to-hand combat. Though only one issue has been released, it stands as a distinctive European homage to the martial-arts comics craze of the 1970s.
