MÄR

Published in Germany by Egmont Ehapa between 2005 and 2009, this 15-issue series adapts the manga-style fantasy adventure MÄR for a European audience. Following a boy transported to a magical world where he must collect powerful weapons called ÄRMs, the story blends action, friendship, and tournament-style battles. Though a compact run, it brought the popular Japanese property to German readers during the mid-2000s manga boom.
