Lurchi Sonderheft

From 2005 to 2011, the German shoe company Salamander released just three oversized issues of Lurchi Sonderheft, a promotional comic starring their long-running mascot, the cheerful salamander Lurchi. These specials followed Lurchi and his animal friends on lighthearted, family-friendly adventures, continuing a tradition that began in the 1930s as a marketing tool for children's footwear.
