Since 2016, Egmont Ehapa’s Lucky Luke Hommage series has invited top European cartoonists to put their own stamp on the iconic cowboy. With creators like Matthieu Bonhomme, Blutch, and Mawil handling both art and story—alongside writer Klaus Jöken—each of the six standalone albums reimagines the lone gunslinger through a distinct artistic lens. It’s a celebration of the character’s enduring legacy, offering fresh perspectives while honoring the spirit of the classic Western adventures.
