Luc Orient

In this Dutch science-fiction series from Uitgeverij Helmond, writer Greg and artist Eddy Paape teamed up to follow the adventures of the titular Luc Orient, a brilliant scientist and explorer. Running for 13 issues between 1969 and 1978, the series combined classic European comic storytelling with imaginative, often otherworldly settings. Paape’s clean, detailed linework brought a grounded realism to Greg’s inventive plots, making it a standout entry in the Franco-Belgian tradition of space-age adventure.
