Love Shots

Love Shots is a single-issue comic published by Catalan Communications in 1988, a moody, stylish collaboration between writer Philippe Paringaux and artist Loustal. Known for its lush, painterly visuals and a narrative steeped in romantic disillusionment, the book captures a moment when European graphic storytelling was gaining a foothold in the American market. Elizabeth Bell also contributed to the writing, rounding out a brief but distinctive entry in the small-press landscape of the late 1980s.
