Set in the near future, Lotta (2023–present) is a Dutch comic from publisher Syndikaat that follows a young woman navigating a world reshaped by climate change and societal collapse. Written and drawn by Marloes de Vries, the story centers on Lotta and her companions—Bien, Elfie, and Toeps—as they carve out a life in a fragile community. Across its first three issues, the series blends intimate character drama with a quiet, haunting vision of resilience.
