About the series
In the late 1980s, Planeta DeAgostini presented Los Nuevos Mutantes, a Spanish-language edition of Marvel’s youthful X-Men spin-off that ran for 65 issues. Primarily written by Chris Claremont and later Francisco Pérez Navarro, the series featured early art by Bob McLeod and a defining run by a young Carlos Pacheco, alongside Rob Liefeld’s energetic pencils. This edition brought the team’s coming-of-age adventures—from the Demon Bear saga to the introduction of Cable—to a new audience, cementing its place as a key entry for Spanish readers discovering the mutant corner of the Marvel Universe.
