About the series
In the mid-1970s, Spanish publisher Editorial OEPISA brought the Uncanny X-Men to a new audience with Los Hombres X, a twenty-issue series that re-presented classic mutant adventures for the Spanish market. This short-lived but culturally significant run introduced Spanish readers to the foundational heroics of Professor X’s original team, adapting stories from the early days of the franchise. While not featuring original tales, the series stands as a key artifact of how Marvel’s mutants crossed borders and languages during the Bronze Age of comics.
