Lo Sconosciuto

In 1975 and 1976, Italian artist and writer Magnus crafted a six-issue series for Edizioni Del Vascello that introduced readers to a grim, enigmatic anti-hero. Lo Sconosciuto ("The Unknown") wove a dark, psychological thriller through its short but intense run, with Magnus handling both the script and the moody, detailed artwork. This series stands as a key example of the mature, experimental storytelling emerging in Italian comics during the mid-1970s.
