Little Murder Library

In 2018 and 2019, Rick Geary wrote and illustrated two issues of Little Murder Library for an independent publisher, each a self-contained, meticulously researched account of a historical true-crime case. The series showcases Geary’s signature crosshatched, black-and-white artwork and his calm, methodical approach to grim subject matter, continuing his long career of transforming notorious murders into compelling, factual comic narratives. Though brief, it’s a concentrated example of his distinctive blend of period detail and understated horror.
