Little Monarchs

Little Monarchs (2022–present, Holiday House) is a graphic novel series from writer/artist Jonathan Case that follows a young girl and her guardian as they navigate a post-apocalyptic Pacific Northwest where sunlight has become deadly. This debut volume, the first of a planned series, combines survival adventure with botanical science, as the characters rely on a system of flower-based clues to find safe havens.
