About the series
A short-lived but memorable humor comic from the late 1950s, Little Lotta was published by Magazine Management and centered on a perpetually cheerful, rotund young girl whose appetite and good-natured mischief drove the gags. Running for just 16 issues, the series was a product of its era's lighthearted, gag-a-page style, and is best remembered today for its distinctive, wholesome artwork and the playful, non-malicious tone that defined many of the company's kid-focused titles. Though a minor entry in the publisher's lineup, it remains a charming snapshot of 1950s comic book humor.
