Little Audrey
Harvey · 1952–1957 · 29 issues
About the series
From 1952 to 1957, Harvey Comics brought readers the playful misadventures of Little Audrey, a cheerful, pigtailed girl whose good-natured mischief and clever wit were the heart of this 29-issue series. Written most often by Isidore Klein and illustrated by the lively pencils of Marty Taras and Steve Muffatti, the comic followed Audrey and her friends—including her little sister Audrey Smith and the ever-hungry Tiny—through a world of schoolyard antics, family fun, and gentle life lessons. A lighter, more upbeat counterpart to Harvey’s other young stars, Little Audrey charmed readers with its bright, slapstick humor and remains a fond snapshot of 1950s all-ages comics.
