Little Archie

Bob Bolling, the writer and artist behind the entire run, brought a distinctively playful and imaginative voice to this four-issue Archie Comics spin-off from 1956–1957. Little Archie reimagined the Riverdale gang as young children, offering simpler, more whimsical adventures that captured the innocence of childhood. Though brief, the series is a charming early showcase of Bolling’s talent, providing a unique glimpse into how the classic Archie characters might have looked and acted in their earliest years. It remains a fondly remembered, if short-lived, experiment in the Archie universe.
