Les tours de Bois-Maury

In the early days of the comic's long run, Les tours de Bois-Maury launched in 1989 with a single volume from publisher France Loisirs. This series is best known for its later, extensive exploration of medieval life through the wandering knight Aymar de Bois-Maury, crafted by writer and artist Hermann. That debut issue, however, stands as the quiet beginning of a celebrated European historical epic.
