About the series
Set in the aftermath of a catastrophic flood that has swallowed most of the world, Les Survivants de l'Atlantique is a French post-apocalyptic series from Soleil, running from 1992 to 2003 across nine issues. Co-created by writer and artist Jean-Yves Mitton, with Félix Molinari also contributing art, the story follows a band of survivors navigating the treacherous, waterlogged ruins of the Atlantic coast. Its gritty, survivalist tone and detailed, moody artwork helped define the early catalogue of Soleil, making it a cult touchstone for fans of European disaster comics.
