About the series
Sergio Aragonés, the master of silent cartooning, created this two-issue series for Dupuis in the early 1990s. Les Piépons follows a cast of cheerful, bird-like creatures through wordless, gag-driven adventures that showcase Aragonés's signature blend of whimsy and precise visual comedy. Though brief, it's a charming example of his international work outside his more famous American comics.
