Les mystères de Paris

In 1977, the French publisher Prifo launched Les mystères de Paris, a comic adaptation of Eugène Sue's classic serial novel. Spanning only two issues, this series translated the sprawling 19th-century tale of disguise, social justice, and intrigue into a concise visual format.
