Les foulards noirs

A French-language comic series launched in 1946 by Éditions Chagor (later Gordinne), Les foulards noirs is a single-issue Western adventure that follows a band of outlaws known as the "Black Scarves." Though its run is brief, the series is notable as an early post-war example of the bande dessinée genre, reflecting the era's pulp-inspired storytelling and durable popularity of the Western in European comics.
