Les aventures de Jodelle

In 1966–1967, French publisher Éric Losfeld released Les aventures de Jodelle, a single-issue comic that became a cult artifact of the era. Created by artist Guy Peellaert, it follows the psychedelic, pop-art exploits of its titular heroine through a surreal, adult-oriented landscape. A landmark of European underground comics, the book is remembered for its bold, graphic style and its fusion of counterculture sensibilities with the comic medium.
