Les aventures de Buck Danny
Dupuis · 1948–present · 61 issues
About the series
Since 1948, Les aventures de Buck Danny has been the flagship aviation comic of Belgian publisher Dupuis, following the U.S. Navy pilot and his wingman Sonny Tuckson through decades of aerial adventure. Created by writer Jean-Michel Charlier and artist Victor Hubinon, the series became a benchmark for technically precise, dramatic storytelling, later sustained by writer-artist Francis Bergèse and, in the modern era, writer Frédéric Zumbiehl with artist Gil Formosa. With over sixty albums, it remains a beloved, long-running chronicle of flight and friendship.
