About the series
In 1987, Silverwolf Comics launched Legion X-1, a two-issue series written by Kris Silver with art by Brandon McKinney. The book introduced a team of genetically engineered super-soldiers, exploring the moral and physical costs of creating living weapons in a near-future setting. Though brief, the series stands as an early example of the darker, more militaristic superhero concepts that would gain traction in the late 1980s.
