Lefranc

In the mid-1950s, Belgian publisher Le Lombard launched Lefranc, a short-lived but visually striking adventure series centered on a roving journalist. Though it ran for only two issues between 1954 and 1961, the series is noted for its clean ligne claire artwork and its place within the broader European comics tradition of globe-trotting reportage. The property would later be revived and expanded by other hands, but these original installments remain a foundational glimpse into the character's early exploits.
