In 2017, IMAV Editions revived the beloved world of Le Petit Nicolas as a comic series, adapting the classic stories into a new graphic format. The series is most closely associated with writer Agostini, who adapted the original text, and the iconic illustrator Sempé, whose warm, whimsical linework defined the characters from the very beginning. This single-issue release matters as a faithful, officially sanctioned translation of the cherished French children’s tales into the comic medium, preserving Sempé’s timeless art for a new generation of readers.
