Le Pays des Purs

In Le Pays des Purs (2017–present, La Boîte à Bulles), writer and artist Nicolas Presl paints a stark, near-future France where a totalitarian regime has segregated society into a "pure" zone and a lawless outer fringe. This single-volume graphic novel follows a young woman from the oppressed periphery who infiltrates the sterile capital, only to find its order built on a harrowing lie.
