Le Manoir des Fantômes

In the early 1980s, French publisher Arédit-Artima released Le Manoir des Fantômes, an eight-issue horror anthology series that translated and compiled American tales of the macabre. Anchored by frequent writing contributions from Marv Wolfman, Carl Wessler, and George Kashdan, the series showcased the moody, shadow-drenched artwork of Gene Colan, alongside Tenny Henson and Torre Repiso. As a curated import of U.S. horror comics, it offered French readers a chilling glimpse into the genre's transatlantic storytelling traditions.
