In the mid-1970s, French publisher Éditions des Remparts revived the Ghost Who Walks for a six-issue run of Le Fantôme Spécial, reprinting classic adventures from the Lee Falk/Sy Barry era alongside new material by local artist-writer Serge Segret. This digest-sized series offered French readers a compact dose of jungle justice, bridging the gap between the original newspaper strips and a new generation of European Phantom fans. Though short-lived, it stands as a charming artifact of the Phantom's international appeal.
