Le Capital

A French graphic adaptation of Karl Marx's seminal economic treatise, Le Capital began serialization with Kurokawa in 2019. While only a single issue has been published to date, the series ambitiously aims to render complex 19th-century political economy into sequential art. It is most notably associated with the creative team's challenge of translating dense theoretical concepts into clear, compelling visual storytelling. This project matters as a bold, contemporary attempt to make Marx's foundational critique of capitalism accessible to a new generation of readers through the comics medium.
