Le Capitaine Alatriste

The Le Capitaine Alatriste comic series, launched in 2008 by Seuil, adapts the swashbuckling adventures of the fictional 17th-century Spanish soldier and swordsman. Based on the novels by Arturo Pérez-Reverte, the series is most closely associated with the artistic team of Carlos Puerta and Joan Mundet, who bring the gritty, honor-bound world of imperial Spain to vivid life.
