Le Brigand du Sertão

A graphic novel series from French publisher Éditions Sarbacane, Le Brigand du Sertão (2014–present) follows the lone journey of a mysterious outlaw through the harsh, mythic landscapes of Brazil's backlands. Written and drawn by artist Carlos Ferreira, the series draws on the traditions of cangaço banditry, blending stark realism with folkloric intensity.
