Published in Portugal by Empresa Nacional de Publicidade from 1954 to 1963, Álbum do Cavaleiro Andante was a 107-issue comic series that brought together European adventure and humor strips for a Portuguese audience. The title leaned heavily on the work of Italian writers Domenico Volpi and Eros Belloni, while the art was most frequently handled by Belgian master Willy Vandersteen, alongside Italian Franco Caprioli and Frenchman Christian Mathelot.
