Laiyna

From 1988 to 1989, Splitter published this two-issue fantasy comic series, written by Pierre Dubois with art by René Hausman. It follows the adventures of Laiyna, a young girl who can communicate with animals and spirits in a magical forest. The series stands out for Hausman's lush, detailed illustrations and Dubois's poetic storytelling, blending folklore with ecological themes. Though brief, it remains a cherished example of European fantasy comics from the late 1980s.
