Lagunen julehefte

Over two holiday issues published by Bladkompaniet/Schibsted in 2009 and 2010, Lagunen julehefte brought Jim Toomey’s beloved coastal comic strip to Norwegian readers in a seasonal format. Scripted primarily by Toomey and Terje Nordberg, with Toomey handling the art, these slim volumes offered a warm, lightly humorous glimpse into the lives of Sherman the shark and the other denizens of the reef. Though a brief run, it stands as a charming, localized celebration of Toomey’s enduring marine-world humor.
